Blog entry Rice on - Freerice en francais and Freerice italiano!
The language sites are great for native Italian, French or Spanish speakers, but also offer the opportunity to deepen your knowledge if you are a second language speaker with a much more challenging language section and translations of other subjects like "Famous Paintings".
If you are already registered on the English or Spanish site: don't worry, your login credentials work on all the current language versions. And the rice you raise one version counts towards rice raised on another version. So, for example, if you raise 10 grains of rice on the English version and another 10 grains on the French version, your overall total is 20 grains (and both version will show this total).
If you're in Italy and attending the Internazionale Festival in Ferrara, you can join us (and the tournament) there: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=119640621473812
We also have a Chinese version launching in October, so stay tuned to this blog.

I think it will be very interesting to the chinease language on here. Mainley because the language has no alphebet so it will be cool to see it translated in English, another one of the hardest languages to learn. 8)
Arabic is very commonly spoken so i think this would be a good idea along with german,i speak alittle german myself and i think this would be great. It would really help to learn and for those who speak it and would help people learn to speak it i think it would be a good oppurtinity for those in te process of learning it or re just abit rusty and trying to get back into the swing.I just want people to be happy and pursue what makes them happy.I think that is best for everyone and especially those poor people over in the horn it just breaks my heart to see and I want it to improve as fast as possible. It's not good to see people unhappy.Especially when you feel like there is nothing you can do to help, but this site makes that possible and i think more people want to help like that.Adding more luanguage would just bring in more rice, users, earning and overall peace. Stay beautiful <3
this is fun
If you are planning to work on a german version maybe I could help you. ;-)
Hope to see more languages soon.
I think that having chinease as a langauge to choose from will be super interesting.
I can't wait until the Chinese language comes in!!
kitty is not cheating because every night she is on when i am, and then every morning at 8:00 she is still on with about 60,000 grains
Please add a Portuguese language learning section to FreeRice.com! Thanks!
exams are coming for me... i will not be online for a long time. sob :(
I'm really pleased to see different language versions of FreeRice popping up. :) Glad to hear there's a Chinese version in the works as well. Is there any chance of an Arabic language version of the site in future? I'm not a native Arabic speaker, but that's a fairly widely-spoken language. It seems like it would make sense to add an Arabic site. Hmm... now this's got me thinking about a Russian site, for the benefit of players in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, as well as Russia itself...
freerice, if u r here, i can confirm to you or assure you kitty is not cheating, i had added her as a friend and check if she has how many rices. she plays almost everyday and for long periods of time as whenever i am usually online, she would be online too. when i go offline, she would still be online. i have checked a lot of time
Now , i'm waiting for free-rice in portuguese!!! ^^
I'm Asian so can u make a Vietmese kind version thx!
Pleased about this..Willyou consider making the Famous Paintings subject more representative of painters other than those well-known in the West only?, (apart from a few from China and Japan).
